"Online College Degrees for Sale". Nope. Sorry. You won’t find any of these here on my site. Or…maybe a lucrative new business for me? Hmmm?

I do remember and incident that happend one of the first weeks working for my current employer. One of the "Administrative Assistants" (no longer working here) came to my office and asked me if I could "whip up" a college diploma for her - being that she had a review coming up.

To which I replied, "why don’t you actually try going to college and earning one for yourself? Then again, to do that, you’d need to finish High School first."

Some people never cease to amaze me.

To add to Cam’s paraphrase: "A weblog feels naked without a photo."

I agree. In addition, I would like to see more "about pages" on some sites as well. I hate when I find a great site about something and I read through a great story, only to take away that the weather outside is beautiful, your dog had puppies and you flunked your midterm. It makes me want to know more about why the weather is nice…is it usually cold where you live? Do you live in Florida? Canada? What kind of dog do you have? What school did you flunk your midterm at? I guess it partly my nature being a designer. I tend to visualize things as I read.

Arizona plate

Out-of-state plates crackdown begins. 1-800-657-4322
Consider yourself warned, &quotThere is no grace period" for registering your car when moving here, said Cydney DeModica, Motor Vehicle spokeswoman. The Arizona state Department of Motor Vehicles is setting up a hotline and asking people to turn in those they know are cheating. The state figures it loses $12 million to $25 million yearly because newcomers don’t register cars. Those caught after Nov. 1 will get citations with penalties of $500.

Woman sentenced for ripping out boyfriend’s genital. Aretha Oneal, was sentenced to 81 days and will be eligible for early release if she completes a 45-day counseling program that deals with issues such as anger management. June 16, 2001, Oneal used her fingernails to rip off one of her boyfriend’s testicles as he slept in his bed. The couple had argued after Ross returned to his residence after a sexual encounter with another woman. The Davidson County district attorney’s office prosecuted the case because Tennessee law requires charges to be levied when there is evidence of domestic violence.

In a later interview, Ross said that he plans to marry Oneal after she is released from custody. "I love that girl," Ross said. "That’s my heart, my soul, and that’s my better half." [via: obscure store]
