Speaking of TiVo, did you know they sold antenna balls, stuffed dolls and lunch boxes? Me neither.
Interesting article by IKEA about what your dorm room says about you. White sheets in a dorm room? I usually had blue or green. All kinds of crap in the room 2 sofas, fridge, microwave and TV (HBO/Cinemax). As for the Internet…well, it wasn’t what it is today back then. I did have photos up in my room and still joined a fraternity. So, take what you want from the survey…..I think they just want you to buy more furniture.

File under interesting news: In Tokyo, Japan you can now send your regular mail with a photo of your own face on a postage stamp.
Sold in a sheet of 10 stamps for $8.80, the customer’s photo is taken with a digital camera and then printed on stamp sheets, a process that takes about five minutes. The stamps are an effort by the Posts Ministry to increase regular mail usage, as opposed to e-mail. Obviously they have caught on, officials had prepared 1,000 sheets but they were sold out in less than 30 minutes.
